Subcortical is a new project by Eddie Jackson. Abandoning the moniker Edweird to the dustbin of history (and our Store page), Subcortical leaps into the future of sonic exploration and sound sculpture while staying grounded in the past of industrial music.
Using any and all instrumentation available in our studio to build complex arrangements out of improvised soundbites, heavily effected drum sequences, and manipulated field recordings.
Opening up this discography is a series done during the Covid 19 quarantine of 2020 called Isolation.
